2009 HURST/HEMI Dodge Challenger SRT8 coming to SEMA

Being one of the first aftermarket tuners, Hurst has announced that it will reveal its take on the new 2009 Dodge Challenger at the 2008 SEMA Auto Show in November. Hurst will first tackle the Challenger SRT8 giving a total of 500 horsepower.

Full technical details will be revealed at the show but HURST said that its HEMI Challenger will be available in four different trim-levels through participating Dodge dealerships. Each model will come with polished five-spoke HURST alloy wheels and the “Pistol-Grip” HURST shifter.

Production is scheduled to kick off in 2009. Prices will be $10,000 to $20,000 above MSRP.
