Duck Race Winners Announced

KGWF-1340 Radio (NRG)-Dr. John Haeberle, Junior was the winner of the grand prize, a Dodge Caliber in Saturday's 17th Annual Midway Chrysler Dodge Jeep Duck Race. A little over 11,000 ducks were sold during the event with proceeds going to the UNK Athletic Department, Kearney High Foundation and Kearney Catholic. Donna Straatman of Pueblo, Colorado won the second prize from Eakes Office Plus, Judy Witte of Kearney won third prize from Bruce Furniture, fourth prize from the Kearney State Bank went to Kearney's Jennifer Martin, fifth place from Sears was won by Gale Dady of Kearney, Carter Taylor of Fayetteville, Arkansas won sixth place from Sims Shop E-Z and the seventh place prize from Sunmart for the last Luck Duck went to Bob Nootz of Beatrice.
