PT Cruiser cruise model is unveiled

Chrysler executives unveiled the 11th factory-customized, limited-edition PT Cruiser on Tuesday to celebrate Saturday's Woodward Dream Cruise.
Chrysler plans to produce 500 of the Sunset Boulevard Street Cruiser Editions, which are $16,650 for the manual version and $17,475 for the automatic. The special edition vehicle is maroon, highlighted with chrome and includes a power moon roof.
Chrysler unveiled the car next to Duggan's Irish Pub on Woodward Avenue in Royal Oak. The scene attracted onlookers including Saj Farida, 58, of Waterford, who pulled over in his PT Cruiser to check out the new edition.
Farida said he couldn't tell the difference between the new one and his version, but he liked it anyway.
"I love it. It's reliable, it's versatile," he said. "I wouldn't change nothing on it."
