DETROIT -- White was the most popular automotive color in North America in 2007, overthrowing silver's seven-year reign as the top choice. White and white pearl are trend-shifting colors, according to DuPont Co.'s 2007 Global Automotive Color Popularity Report.
Nineteen percent of the overall market went to white/white pearl, which took 26 percent of the truck category, the report says.
